Louis Dirosa jr received his education from the University of New Orleans and currently works in the city as an attorney who specializes in torts, class actions and federal criminal cases. Louis also serves as an adjunct professor of criminal justice at the college level and teaches civics and American History to high school kids.
In addition to his work as a professional attorney, Louis has spent many years involved in the private sector, including a stint as the Assistant City Attorney in the New Orleans Municipal and Traffic Courts, and as an attorney for the Louisiana Legislative Bureau, which is a division of the Louisiana State Senate.
Louis comes from an old political family that goes back for many generations in New Orleans and remains active in both state and local politics.
Although Louis has spent time living in Boston, Massachusetts, he will always call New Orleans home.
